‘Beato Goes To’ series of books are authored by Sucheta Rawal. A few years ago, when Sucheta was searching for children’s books that teach kids about travel and cultures, she couldn’t find many. She wanted kids everywhere to learn about each other’s surroundings and customs, so they grow up to be informed and accepting global citizens. Sucheta drew on her own personal experiences from traveling around the world to create a series of picture books that would teach young readers about far off places and spotlight the diversity we have on this planet. The stories were inspired by actual kids Sucheta met and the illustrations based on places she visited. Many of the facts found in the books Sucheta learned herself during her travels!
